Sea Day The wind has calmed down and even the sun came out
for a little while. As predicted Betty went to the Doctor this morning. She
went down before 9am because that is when theyopen so she thought she would get
among the frist lot. I decided to go for a walk around deck 7 before I had a
shower and managed 6 laps. The intention was then we would have breakfast,
however Betty took longer than we thought but we did get to breakfast at about
10.30am. She now has 5 lots of medication to treat what the Doctor says is Bronchitis.
There was a 3 hour only Sale on today with gifts for $15 of
watches, Jewelry, Evening Bags, Pashminaes, Ties and more. We took a look but
came away with nothing. The Passenger Choir gave a performance at 1.30pm but
due to the timing of Betty’s medication we need to be having lunch at that time
so we missed it. Everyone says they were good and will perform again later in
the cruise.
As today is Saturday and a sea day we met with our Cruise
Critic friends in Jammers for happy hour . Ann gave out playing cards to
everyone and this divided us into groups, all 10s together, all 9s together
etc. and we had a short trivia session. They are a great group.
Showtime for us tonight was Pearson & Harvey from the
Four Kinsmen. It was just an average show apparently not as good as last night.
Tomorrow is Mumbai
but we are not doing anything special as we have been here 4 times and it is
not one of our favourite ports.
