Sea Day Cloudy 29c
2.5 metre swell ship moving about a bit.
Bettys hair washing day today so I went to Breakfast on my
own so that I could g to the port talk. Betty had a later breakfast but she did
catch me up at the talk. Today the port talk was about Athens and as always it was quite
interesting. We sat with Bev & Ian and Bev offered some cough mixture for
Betty’s cough so they went to get it and Ian and I went to the La Patisserie on
deck 5 to order coffees. Afterwards we could have played doubles table tennis
or gone to Zumba class or tried the Fun @ sea Champagne Hoopla or even attended
morning trivia but we decided to read our books. At lunch today the Australian
Pie was served but no Pie Floaters (Only the SA people will know what I am
talking about) Ballroom today was a review but we have decide to give it a miss
as we are not happy with the way John is running the class. He insists on
making every dance progressive so we stay out and dance on the carpet which is
not very enjoyable. If he is doing a dance we particularly want to do we may go
again. Betty and Bev went to “Runway At Sea Fashion Show” the clothes were modelled by passengers. I
did 3 laps around deck 7 which was quite an experience as the wind was blowing
so hard that down one side you were blown along and down the other side you had
to battle gale force wind which is why I only did 3 laps.
Showtime for us was vocalist, dancer & musician Nathan
Foley. Those of you who remember the group Hi Fives will know his name. I know
three girls who will remember him. He now has a solo act singing music from the
50s,60s 70s & 80s. He is a bundle of energy. Early start tomorrow for us,
on our tour of Colombo so we did not stay up late.
