7th July

Sea Day Sunny Temp 27c Smooth Sea
During today we passed across the Greenwich meridian which I am sure you all know separates the eastern and western hemispheres such as the equator divides the northern and southern hemispheres. It runs from the North Pole to the South Pole passing through the borough of Greenwich in London. Not much to report today as we have taken it pretty easy after 4 ports in a row. We did go to Deborah’s last port talk on Southampton, she leaves us in Southampton and a new lady will be taking over. I also went to another of Marlins lectures this time called “The Amazon, A Boat Adventure Up the Great River Sea” Marlin is also getting off in Southampton. After dinner we went to the Princess Theatre to listen to Comedy Vocal Impressionist Gary T Thompson who gave us a good laugh. I just saw a spelling mistake in yesterday’s post. I bet it is not the only one.
