We now have a new Captain. His name is Captain Philip
Pickford and he will be with us until Sydney.
This morning we went to the Princess Theatre to listen to
the new Port Lecturer Narelle Froude. She told us about Dublin and while she is
different to Deborah she is good. She confirmed our decision to get the shuttle
into town and then catch the Hop on Hop Off Bus when in Dublin. In the
afternoon we went to her next lecture on Cobh where we are doing a tour with
Coral, Bev & Ian called Scenic Drive & Irish Coffee but more about that
later. We now have the 8th member of our table a gentleman by the
name of Howard. He is travelling on his own. He seems a very quiet man who is
hard to talk to but he may warm to us later. Tonight we all went to see Travis
Turpin a Vocal Impressionist. He started of slow but we warmed to him. He gave
impressions of people like Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Dean Martin & Frank
Sinatra.
