Dubrobnik Sunny Temp 26c.
Overnight we crossed the Adriatic Sea and when we woke about
7.30am we were already approaching Dubrobnik and we docked about 9am. Dubrobnik
is a Croatian city and it is a favourite with tourists. As we have been here
twice before we decided to just catch the shuttle bus into the Old Walled Town.
There we were able to get Free WiFi while we had a coffee and we spoke to Tanya
and the Nocklesfamily. Cheryl we did try you but no answer. After picking up
the usual frig magnet and posting a card to Rosemary we caught the shuttle bus
back to the ship, stopping to check out the stalls on the wharf to stock up on
some Coca Cola using the last of our Krona. Tonight the entertainment in the
Vista Lounge is Diane Cousins who we saw a few nights ago. We decided to spend
time in our cabin instead of going to see her. Betty read her book (on iPad)
and I did some end of financial year work on the computer. By the way Diane was
not the only thing we could have gone to. There was a movie “Blackfish”, the
World Cup match Argentina v Switzerland, dancing in the Wheelhouse, Hits of the
eighties in Jammers Night Club and there is always the Casino so we are not
bored. We have a Sea Day tomorrow on the way to Rome.
